Ian is a 3x winner of UK CEO of the Year. As a CEO or Managing Director he reported 29 consecutive years of rising EBITDA (1990-2018), and has completed 43 mergers and acquisitions in the UK ICT sector.
His 2nd book (How to Survive and Thrive), co-written with the legendary founder of Reebok, Joe Foster is published in December 2024. His first book, the Street-Smart MBA, Mastering Business Acumen Without Going to School was published in the lockdown in 2020.
Ian founded AdEPT Technology Group in 2003 and sold it in a £100m transaction in 2023. He is currently also Chairman, Airband a rural broadband network, and is a member of the Cabinet Office SME Panel.
